My Hometown
In the northeastern of U S ,there has a quite old and traditional city,Her name is bo ston .today ,I tell you something about that. B oston has a lot of nicknames,such as "The at hens of U S","The Hub of the universe " ,"bean town"and so on . Its Subordinate area is mas sach usetts,and has a population of 617,594 at 2010,the urban area is 232.1 k㎡ .
The weather in there is very fickle.sometimes,it may snow in may or September,but it can be very hot in winter.But in all ,the cilimate is quite comfortable .
My hometown is known as “the Athens of us”,Because in Bos ton metropolitan area has more than 100 university,over 250,000 college students accept education in here. For example, The Har vard University, Massa chusetts I nstitute of Technology, the Bos ton University。are all in there ,it's unbelievable for such a not big city to have so much universities.so I very proud of it.
In sports , our city is well-known throughout the country. Bos ton Re d Sox , Bo ston Cel tics , New Eng land Patr iots all are well-known teams throughout the country.
There also have lots of Famous Cityscape in my hometown. The Old No rth Chu rch, Muse um of Fin e arts bos ton ,Bost on Child ren's Mu seum, Bost o n Common 。
